A Bristol road has been closed by police leading to concerns from the local community.
At about 10.10am today (Sunday November 16) a large police presence was spotted by local residents and shop keepers in Regent Street in Kingswood.
Pictures of the police shared on social media show at least three police cars and one van attending an address on Regent Street.

One local resident posted: “Kingswood high street has just been blocked by police.” This led to many others inquiring as to what it was about.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said the incident was nothing to worry about. They told BristolLive: “Our officers were responding to a concern for welfare matter. The individual is now in the care of health professionals.
“The call came in shortly before 10.10am to Regent Street in Kingswood.”
