Airlines including Jet2, easyJet, and TUI are set to launch a host of new flights from the UK next year. These travel firms will be transporting passengers to a variety of destinations, ranging from European favourites such as Mallorca and Rhodes, to international locations like Seattle and Bangkok, reports the Express.
Nine airlines (Jet2, easyJet, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, TUI, Aer Lingus, Norwegian, Alaska Airlines, and Luxair) are introducing new routes to 11 UK airports.
Many of these services will commence next spring, with others set to begin in the summer and autumn to cater for different tourist seasons.
One route that stands out is the British Airways flight from London Heathrow to St. Louis in Missouri, as it’s the only UK airline offering non-stop flights to this city.
This development comes after several airlines announced plans to reduce seat availability or discontinue services altogether next year.
This includes WIZZ Air services to Vienna, all Jet2 services from Bournemouth, and Ryanair flights to three airports in France.
