Pulp will play a huge headline gig in Manchester next summer as they take to the stage at Wythenshawe Park.

The latest to be confirmed for the outdoor venues, the rockers will perform to over 20,000 people on Friday, 28 August. They’ll be joined by fellow Sheffield native, Self Esteem.

The Wythenshawe Park performance will be one of very few opportunities for fans to see Pulp perform live in 2026, and the only chance to see them outdoors in the North of England next year.

This announcement also marks the final artist revealed for the Live From Wythenshawe Park series in 2026 which will also see performances from The Cure (August 21), Lewis Capaldi (August 22), Courteeners (August 29) and The Prodigy (August 30).

Pulp’s show follows their acclaimed reunion shows and the release of their long-awaited new album More – the band’s first in 24 years.

Since their formation in Sheffield in the late 1970s, the band have created some of British music’s most enduring moments – from Common People and Disco 2000 to This Is Hardcore.

Their latest work, More, finds the band reflecting on time, desire and renewal with the insight and emotional charge that have always defined their music.

Joining them at Wythenshawe Park will be Self Esteem, the critically acclaimed project of Rebecca Lucy Taylor, whose genre-defying pop has made her one of the UK’s most important contemporary voices.
