Jane McDonald has announced a new tour – and she’s playing two dates in her beloved Yorkshire.
The Wakefield singing sensation will bring her 19-date Living The Dream tour to the Utilita Arena in Sheffield next year – on Wednesday, September 23 – before ending the tour at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Saturday, September 26.
In support of the tour, Jane will release her new album Living The Dream next spring.
Recorded in Nashville at the famous Blackbird Studios, it’s Jane’s 11th studio album, and will feature nine original songs as well as four reworkings of country classics.
Making the announcement, Jane said: ‘It’s true, I am officially Living The Dream, so what better way to celebrate that than with a new album and a new tour.
‘I love country music and I love partying with you, so I want to bring that together by bringing you some exciting new music along with the songs you know and love.
‘We had brilliant fun on the last tour and we’re stepping it up a notch this time to visit even bigger venues so buckle up and let’s make even more memories together.’
Jane will also present a two-part documentary on Channel 5 in spring next year.
It will follow her journey to Nashville to make the album and learn more about the iconic home of country music.
The album is available to pre-order now via jane-mcdonald.com, giving fans exclusive access to the tour pre-sale. The tour goes on general sale at 10am on Friday, November 28.
