The Country Music Association announced this year’s winners at the 59th CMA Awards on Wednesday night in Nashville. Zach Top won New Artist of the Year and took the stage with his beer can still in his hand. The Red Clay Strays broke Old Dominion’s years-long winning streak to be named Vocal Group of the Year, and Cody Johnson ended Chris Stapleton’s Male Vocalist of the Year run with his first-ever Male Vocalist victory.
Elsewhere, CMAs host Lainey Wilson won Album of the Year for Whirlwind, and Ella Langley and Riley Green‘s “You Look Like You Love Me” took home Single of the Year honors. Music Video of the Year also went to “You Look Like You Love Me,” while Brooks & Dunn repeated as Vocal Duo of the Year. Post Malone won the trophy for Musical Event of the Year for his song with Blake Shelton, “Pour Me a Drink.”
But the big award went to Wilson, who was named Entertainer of the Year for a second time. She first won in 2023; Morgan Wallen won the top prize last year. See the full list of winners (in bold) below.
