Vogue Williams’ husband Spence Matthews has said he is ‘delighted’ he can finally speak about her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here stint as she follows him into the jungle.
The Irish TV presenter will be seen entering camp during Thursday’s (November 20) episode of the ITV reality show alongside fellow latecomer, Celebs Go Dating receptionist Tom Read Wilson, days after the programme’s return to screens last Sunday (November 16).
Speaking of taking part int he programme, Vogue said: “I always thought I wouldn’t do it, because I’ve gotten too comfortable in my life. I like to have eight hours of sleep, I like to eat nice things, I like to just chill out and I never put myself out of my comfort zone.
“Then when I turned 40, I started to get scared of ridiculous things. I didn’t want to be this person. Doing this is such a massive life experience and it is not something you can pay to do. So now I am 40, I think it will be pretty cool to do I’m A Celebrity.”
The mother-of-three said she would miss her children – Theodore, six, daughter Gigi, four, and youngest son Otto, three – the most during her time in the jungle.
She added: “I’m very worried about missing the kids, as I have never been away this long before and I spend such a huge amount of time with them. It will be my biggest struggle.”

After Vogue was officially confirmed as one of this year’s late entrants, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer, who entered the jungle in 2015 but had to withdraw days later and didn’t make it into the main camp, took to social media to have his say.
Sharing his wife’s official I’m A Celebrity snap, he wrote: “Delighted that I no longer need to sidestep this rumour! ! It’s true, she’s in! Soon, the world gets to see what I’ve know for nearly 9 years – my wife is absolutely extraordinary. Vogue isn’t just fearless and gorgeous on TV – she’s like that in life. What you see is what you get.
“She throws herself into opportunities with a rare mix of warmth, humour, grit and heart, and I’ve never met anyone who uplifts people quite the way she does. She is loved by all and for good reason. She’s my best friend, a phenomenal wife and a perfect mother. I’m very proud of her for taking on I’m A Celeb.”
He added: “She’ll be stepping outside her comfort zone, and that takes courage and if anyone can light up that jungle, it’s her. To my amazing wife – good luck, my love. Be brilliant, as you always are. The kids and I are behind you every step of the way.”
