Celtic are back and preparing to face St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday night.
The Hoops have won three of their four games under Martin O’Neill since he returned to the club as an interim manager and have the opportunity to move to within four points of Hearts.
There is likely to be some animosity from the away end following Celtic’s decision to adjourn the AGM with over 60 minutes left.
O’Neill’s side can only do their talking on the pitch though, but decisions will have to be made on who starts after more injuries during the international break.
Poll: St Mirren vs Celtic predictions Anthony Ralston starts as Colby Donovan given extended rest
While it may have been a successful international break for most of our Scottish representatives, it was somewhat disappointing for one.
Colby Donovan left the Scotland U21 camp early after an injury suffered during the win against Gibraltar U21s.
Even if he is deemed fit enough to play, risking him would make no sense what with a huge game against Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday.
Anthony Ralston is more than capable of filling the void in the meantime, and will be fresh due to being an unused substitute in Scotland’s win against Denmark.
Celtic predicted XI vs St Mirren
Injuries, as well as those returning from internationals, mean that some alterations will have to be made to the side.
Kasper Schmeichel keeps his place with a back four of Ralston, Auston Trusty, Liam Scales and Kieran Tierney holding the fort.
