The average house price in Bristol over the last year was £394,666, according to Rightmove. And with property prices in the city continuing to rise year after year its becoming almost impossible to be able to afford to get on the property ladder in Bristol.
Rightmove figures show that the majority of properties sold in Bristol during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £408,992. Flats sold for an average of £284,257, with semi-detached properties fetching £433,920. This year Bristol had the highest average house price in the South West.
Despite these alarming figures where even flats in the Bristol area are being marketed for an average of £280,000, finding a property for less than £100,000 seems almost impossible.
However Rightmove has a few properties listed in Bristol which fall under the £100,000 mark. Mostly these are auction guide prices and shared ownership and almost exclusively flats. Check out some of the properties on offer below.
