It is hoped the group could be up and running again in the spring if it gets up to five regular volunteers.
“What we need is those few people all to come together at the same time so we can really get it restarted, get some enthusiasm, get some momentum going,” Ms Alcroft said.
“We’re still in touch with the children, we’ve still got the WhatsApp group for the parents and carers.
“People have asked us this week have we got any dates yet for the next sessions.”
The club is for children between the ages of six and 12 and currently has about six members.
“I really feel for those kids, that something that they enjoy they’re just not able to do it at the moment,” Ms Alcroft added.
