One I’m a Celebrity star could spark friction with her campmates, after a deceit was rumbled in the latest episode.
Ruby Wax was hiding someting she’d done, after chaos hit the camp – but she made it very obvious to those around her. After a challenge the night before, the camp won some sweets.
According to Martin Kemp it was “a frenzy” as the sweets arrived, and everyone wanted some. It seems no one was on top of who had what and whether they were being shared out equally.
As it happens, some stars, one in particular, had more of the treats than anyone else and then appeared to keep it to themselves. It had been spotted by their co-stars though, who brought it up on Tuesday.
Discussing the chaos, Alex Scott said to her jungle pals: “I think that was just a lesson, it is something to laugh about but it is something like that, a small thing, that can become a big thing. I think the reaction to the sweets situation yesterday, certain people didn’t know what sweets were there, who was getting what and it could just be handled in a different situation.”

Angry Ginge advised that next time, it should be up to the chefs to empty out any treats and divide it equally so every one gets a fair share. Vogue Williams and Eddie Kadi, and others, had pointed out that Ruby had eaten more than everyone else.
While she kept quiet, it was noted that out of the six bags of sweets to be shared out, Ruby had an entire bag to herself. Ruby did admit this in the Bush Telegraph, confessing it was intentional.
She said: “My inner animal took over, I’ve got a mouth to feed which is mine!” Viewers watching the episode were divided, as some labelled her as “selfish” and “rude”. One fan said: “Hogging a bag of sweets to yourself is ugly and selfish,” as another posted: “Not cool Ruby.”
Others were hoping for drama though, with a fan saying: “Thank GOD Ruby is starting to stir s**t and cause drama because this season is pretty dry.” A further comment said: “What a legend,” as another posted: “Obsessed with Ruby saving the food for herself.” Meanwhile, host Dec teased: “She’ll have to watch out though, Ruby.”

It comes after hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly sparked concern with viewers on Monday after a change to the show. Ant announced that they would not be entering camp that day, while they didn’t confirm why.
He told viewers: “We’re not going into camp today but we will be opening the vote for the trial later in the show.” The programme moved on, and later the hosts revisited the shake-up.
Later, Dec told fans: “We won’t be opening the vote until later. But don’t worry, we will still let you chose a celebrity to torture.” It then wasn’t until the very end of the show that they discussed it again but they still did not explain the change.
As they confirmed the vote for the next trial was now open, they revealed Ruby Wax was exempt on medical grounds. The show then ended with the hosts not going into camp, or explaining why.

While some fans questioned if it was due to the storm that hit camp or maybe the overnight trial we have yet to see, other viewers called the moment “odd”. One fan asked: “Ant & Dec not going into camp today?”
As the episode ended, a second fan said: “Is it just me or was that a bit of an abrupt ending?” A third fan agreed: “It did seem a bit rushed and weird they didn’t go into camp but maybe cause of the storm or the evening trial?”
A further confused fan said: “It was scheduled until 20 past, very odd!” Other fans thought they had the answer though, possibly explaining why they didn’t go into camp.
A fan said: “Maybe it’s to do with the issues they had with the weather earlier?” as another agreed: “I’d say the storm had something to do with it.” Another fan said: “Maybe for something interesting tomorrow.”
