The Glasgow giants are set to face off next year with Sky already tweaking the fixture card for the blockbusterRangers’ Max Aarons

A change to the kick-off time for Rangers vs Celtic has been revealed with the fixture picked up for TV. The SPFL have released the latest live broadcast pick for March next year.

The pair last faced off in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals at Hampden as interim Hoops’ boss Martin O’Neill saw off newly appointed Ibrox boss Danny Rohl in his first derby showdown. However, it looks likely that Columbus Crew head coach Wilfried Nancy will step into the hot seat by the time the last TV pick rolls around.

The pair are next schedule to face off in the first Premiership fixture of the new year for the Glasgow rivals as Rohl takes his side to Celtic Park for the first time. But Sky Sports have moved early to push back the next clash which had been scheduled in for February 28.

The game was originally set to take place on the Saturday with a 3pm kick-off. However, it will now return to the traditional Sunday slot.

The game in round 29 will now be a 12 noon kick-off on the Sunday. The SPFL note that this is due to the game being picked up by the broadcaster.

Sky Sports have yet to unveil the rest of the picks that will moved for the day. However, a raft of changes are expected to follow in the English Premier League and EFL fixture cards.
