The 49ers have doubts over Daniel Farke, but recruitment plans are still being made in the background.
Leeds fans want Farke out and we understand The 49ers are aware of the unrest from supporters, after the German took the Whites into the relegation zone following the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
Should Leeds sack Daniel Farke?
Regardless of whether Daniel Farke stays or goes, the squad needs improving regardless – and Leeds could turn to Promise David to help them survive in the Premier League.
Leeds United monitoring Promise David ahead of the winter transfer window
Claret and Hugh have now revealed that West Ham want to sign the £17m-rated Canada international, and in doing so, said the east Londoners can expect competition from Leeds.
Only Wolves – who sit bottom on two points – have scored fewer goals than Leeds in the Premier League this season, with 12 games yielding just 11 goals.
Do you think Leeds will be relegated this season?
David himself can boast nine goals in 20 appearances for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise so far this season, with his latest effort firing the Belgian side to glory over Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.

The American manages the Canada national team, and has helped the 24-year-old score three goals in eight appearances for his country so far.
Marsch thinks highly of David. After handing him a maiden call-up back in March, the former Leeds boss said: “We’ve talked a lot about his progress. He’s excited about joining the National Team. Both of these are big talents (Daniel Jebbison and David). They fit the way we play.”
Hopefully, Marsch can put in a good word for Leeds.
