A box of food used to make lunches for children has been stolen from a school in Bristol.
A masked man is believed to have climbed over a fence and into a school site before stealing a box of food during the early hours of the morning of Tuesday, November 25.
Avanti Gardens School in Fishponds said a man was seen entering the school site from Oldbury Court before stealing the food box and leaving on College Road.
CCTV images shared on Facebook show a man wearing a hoodie and shorts carry boxes of food down the lane.
The man was wearing a face covering at the time, and another person was waiting on College Road.
The boxes contained fresh food used to make lunch for children and milk.
Avanti Gardens School posted to social media where they said: “This morning, Tuesday 25th November at 4.50am, a man climbed over the fence into our school and stole a box of food that was delivered earlier.
“This was fresh food that is used to make children’s lunches, as well as milk we receive for children.
“A man entered from Oldbury Court Road and exited on College Road. He was wearing a hoodie, a face cover, shorts and flip-flops.
“There was another person waiting for him on College Road to help carry the box over the fence, they were wearing white.
“Please contact the school if you have CCTV on either Oldbury Court Road or College Road and if either of them can be seen.”
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police has said: “Shortly before 10am on Tuesday 25 November we received a report that a food delivery had been stolen by a man from outside a property in College Road in the Clifton area of Bristol.
“The incident took place at about 4.50am that morning and the man has been described as wearing a hoodie, shorts, and a face mask.
“Anyone with any information that could help officers should call 101 using the reference number 5225330669.”
