The award-winning Ferry House, on the outskirts of Salisbury, featured in the second episode of the series, hosted by Kevin McCloud, on November 26.
The home was designed by Hampshire firm AR Design Studio.
It has three wings of accommodation, and its design was “inspired by the riverside setting, with marshland views to the spire of Salisbury Cathedral and the form of the local red kites that circle above”.
Architects used an upside down house approach to ensure all amenities could be accommodated on a single floor.

Before the episode aired, an AR Design Studio spokesperson said: “Exciting news: Ferry House will feature on the RIBA Grand Designs ‘House of the Year’ TV Show.
“We would once again like to thank those involved in the project, and the clients for their open-minded approach to contemporary design from which their award-winning home evolved.”
The episode is available to watch on catch-up on Channel 4.
In May, Ferry House won a RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) award for the South West & Wessex region.
