For the second-straight week, the Atlanta Falcons won’t have their No. 1 weapon in the passing game, wide receiver Drake London.

London sustained a PCL injury in the Week 11 loss to the Carolina Panthers that led to his early exit from the contest.

London was once again absent from practice this entire past week before the team ruled him out on Friday ahead of the Week 13 matchup against the New York Jets.

Now that we have confirmation London won’t be playing this week, here’s what we know about when he might return to action.

When is Drake London coming back?

London’s status for Week 14 remains up in the air.

Falcons head coach Raheem Morris labeled him as week to week and given the fact that Morris also called London doubtful early in the week, it’s clear he wasn’t even close to returning in Week 13.

“You never know, Drake could come back tomorrow and feel a lot better, but we’ll get a feel for how that goes and he’ll be a week-to-week guy,” Morris said.

As NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero noted, PCL injuries can be “tricky” and he added that the Falcons could take a more careful approach given their slim postseason hopes.

Whether that would mean holding London out for longer than needed or even shutting him down for the season remains to be seen, but we wouldn’t rule out either thing happening at this point.

With all the information we have, we’d say London is sitting around a 50/50 chance to return next week.
