Ant McPartlin was called out by I’m A Celebrity fans for making an awkward error live on air. The Geordie presenter was speaking to Ruby Wax following her exit when he asked her about “sweet-gate”.
But rather than call out Kelly Brook for dropping the bombshell, he said Aitch and Angry Ginge had thrown her under the bus by not owning up to their ways. The former model, 46, let the group know she was part of a sneaky moment with Ginge and Aitch after Dingo Dollars challenge just seconds after she was given the boot.
The trio had won milk bottle sweets for camp after completing the task. But instead of sharing them in their entirety, the three stars decided to sneakily keep half for themselves.

Kelly enjoyed letting campmates know of their devious ways as she headed for the famous rope bridge ahead of her exit chat. Kelly announced as she walked out: “By the way, there were more than 10 milk bottles,”
But with camp life continuing as normal, Ant thought Ginge and Aitch could have opened up further on their actions. Ginge had told camp: “There were 13, so hence we had one for us three and she took the first one, that’s why.”
He added: “Kelly’s to blame for it, you’ll see when you get out.” Martin told the pair: ‘It’s your own actions. If you eat something, you’re to blame” but they escaped any further drama.
And Ant and Dec made it clear they weren’t impressed that the bombshell announcement as she left hadn’t caused more friction.

But, Ant was fuming the moment didn’t cause any aggravation in camp. Speaking on Wednesday’s live show, Ant branded the Youtube star and musician “liars”. “What? That’s terrible man!,” he exclaimed when he found out camp had brushed over the incident. “Liars!,” he snapped. Dec agreed and added: “Dirty little liars.”
However, fans were quick to side with the Mancunian pair. And they called out the presenters for their take. “The way ant and dec are telling ruby that aitch and ginge stole sweets even tho she did the exact same thing dawg do you think she cares #ImACeleb” said one Twitter/X user.
Another wrote: “Ant and Dec telling Ruby about the milk bottles making it sound like just the boys had the sweets, not Kelly as well.”
Joel Dommett also came in for criticism: “First Ant now Joel saying Aitch & Ginge threw Kelly under the bus. Wrong she threw them under the bus. #Grass #imaceleb #unpacked,” wrote another fan.
Their reaction comes after Vogue Williams had earlier called Kelly a “snake” for her part in the “crime”. During her exit chat, the Geordie duo showed the Irish star footage of the trio’s antics.

Vogue was visibly shocked as she watched the footage roll. Watching her reaction, Ant pointed out: “I mean, your face says it all,” before she replied with a gasp: “Snakes in the camp!”
When she was then asked if she was surprised by any of them keeping the treats for themselves, she said: “I’m kind of surprised at Kelly. Oh my God. That’s desperate! I’d never do that. “
Speaking to the Mirror at the celebrity hotel after her own exit, a defiant Kelly insisted she does not “feel guilty one bit” about the moment or dropping Ginge and Aitch in it before leaving camp. She confessed that telling her campmates about her, Ginge and Aitch’s deception was a masterplan to put the “cat among the pigeons”.

And she admitted that she had been “saving it up” for when she left, explaining the camp needed to know that there was some “gameplay” going on. “I kind of secretly had a hunch that maybe I’d leave before Aitch and Ginge, so it was just kind of my little trump card as I left,” she said.
And Kelly also revealed there was no regrets about eating sweets in the first place. She revealed her feelings weren’t of guilt due to campmates such as Shona McGarty keeping the contraband butter to herself.
