Transport for Wales (TfW) has reintroduced its festive dining menu on a number of its train services in the run-up to Christmas. This means you can have Christmas dinner onboard your train. The seasonal offer includes dishes such as pork belly bites, a traditional turkey dinner and Christmas crumble, alongside vegetarian options. TfW says ingredients are locally sourced and prepared by its onboard chefs.
The return of the menu comes as passenger numbers typically rise during December, with many people travelling for shopping, social events and family visits.
Two-course meals are priced at £26.95, with three courses costing £29.95. Passengers can also add a bottle of house wine for an additional fee. For the biggest stories in Wales first, sign up to our daily newsletter here
Piers Croft, On Board Director for Transport for Wales said: “Christmas can be a busy time of year and what better way of travelling and to get in the Festive Spirit than having a Christmas meal on board.
“It’s the perfect way to relax, celebrate and arrive at your destination in style.”
