This week’s leaked Strictly Come Dancing spoiler has generated outrage amongst fans of the show who deemed it a “travesty”. Just hours after the BBC One show ended the results of this week’s dance off were posted online and viewers are not happy. Express.co.uk has opted not to share the details of who exits.
The latest episode on Saturday December 6 saw the remaining five celebrities and their professional partners vying for a place in next week’s semi-final with one couple facing elimination. Although the results show airs on Sunday’s it is filmed directly after the Saturday night live show and someone in attendance shared the result, which has not gone down well. Taking to X one stunned viewer penned: “Potentially one of the biggest shock bottom two in the shows history.” Another added: “The #StrictlySpoiler is horrendous. I’m devastated… not to mention the quality of performance(s) will really suffer the next two weeks.”
A third chimed in: “For the first time as a Super fan, after the Strictly Spoiler, I can honestly say, I have no further interest in this series.”
A fourth agreed with this sentiment penning: “The most criminal bottom two of all time. I cannot watch Strictly again…”
A fifth decreed: “F****** travesty. The pairing that has given us the most memorable, beautifully choreographed & amazingly executed dances has been eliminated even before the semifinal? the show has been dying a slow death since 2022 but this might be the nail in the coffin for me.
Meanwhile a sixth shared a theory about the outcome writing: “I can’t prove it but the judges absolutely orchestrated this result on purpose.”
This weeks theme was Musicals, and Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin topped the leaderboard earning a perfect score of 40 for their Charleston to Sit Down You’re Rocking The Boat, from the musical Guys and Dolls.
At the other end of the board, Karen Carney and Carlos Gu were bottom with 34 points for their Samba to The Rhythm of Life from Sweet Charity.
The remaining three couples all scored 35 for their efforts. Lewis Cope and Katya Jones performed a Salsa to America from West Side Story. George Clarke and Alexis Warr opened the show with an Argentine Tango to Point of no Return from Phantom of the Opera.
Meanwhile Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon, who have survived a record breaking five dance offs, danced a Viennese Waltz to Never Enough from The Greatest Showman.
