A man has been hospitalised after a ‘disturbance’ in the city centre.
The 25-year-old suffered injuries which are said not to be life threatening during the incident, at about 5am today.
Police were called to South King Street, off Deansgate.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to assist with their investigation.
A post on the GMP City Centre Facebook page said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Manchester city centre early this morning.
“Shortly after 5am we were called to reports of a disturbance on South King Street, in Manchester city centre.
“Emergency services attended and a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not life threatening.
“If anyone has any information or footage of the incident, please contact Longsight CID on 0161 856 4259, quoting log 707 of 14/12/25.”
