The full line-up for the Strictly Come Dancing live tour has been confirmed. The official live tour for the popular BBC programme will hit the road in the new year where it will travel to nine venues across the UK.

Liverpool is one of the stops on the tour with two dates pencilled in for the M&S Bank Arena on February 5 & 6. Before the show arrives in Liverpool, dates will be performed at arenas Birmingham, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. After Liverpool, the tour will continue to Glasgow and Nottingham before the curtain comes down on the live tour at London’s O2 Arena.

The full line-up has been revealed today as it was confirmed George Clarke and Alexis Warr, Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley from this season will be a part of the tour. In a very special twist, 2023 contestant Layton Williams will return to the tour to reprise his partnership with Nikita Kuzmin.

The four contestants will join the already announced groups of Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer, La Voix and Aljaž Škorjanec, Ellie Goldstein and Vito Coppola, and Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington.

Emmerdale star Lewis was a hit with fans this season on his way to the quarter final before his shock elimination. The star is delighted to be continuing his Strictly journey, but will miss out on the Liverpool shows due to prior commitments.

Reacting to his participation on the tour, the soap star said: “I swapped the Dales for the dance floor to take part in Strictly Come Dancing, and I’m not ready to hang up my dancing shoes just yet! I am thrilled and honoured to continue my Strictly journey as part of the live tour and can’t wait to be reunited with the incredible cast and crew.”

YouTube star George is gearing up for the final this weekend and is thrilled his journey will be continuing on the tour. He said: “The last few months have been a whirlwind, but I’m honestly delighted to be joining the tour and to be able to continue my Strictly journey on the road. Bring on January!”

George is the only finalist set for the tour as Amber Davis and Karen Carney have not been confirmed as part of the line-up. Nikita will instead be reprising his celebrated partnership with Layton.

The Bad Education star is delighted with the twist that he will be returning as the two were incredibly popular with audiences on the road two years ago.

He said: “What, me? A ‘Special Guest’ – Ok!! Omg I’m backkkk and so excited to be reunited with Nikita again to slay the UK! It’s an honour to be asked back and able to do this twice. Thank you and see you soon. L x”

Former Leeds and Chelsea striker Hasselbaink said: “I’ve witnessed first-hand the joy and excitement that this show can bring to people – so when the opportunity to join the live tour arose, I couldn’t say no. I can’t wait to meet all the incredible fans across the country.”
