An Emmerdale killer made a comeback of sorts on Monday night, teasing a return to the soap if they get their way.

Paige Sandhu appeared on ITV’s The Big Quiz, as cast from Coronation Street and Emmerdale battled it out with a series of questions and rounds. One round saw blasts from the past, and actress Paige was one of them.

She played killer Meena on the ITV soap between 2020 and 2022, with the villain now in prison. Fans have long called for her to make a comeback, and now actress Paige has teased the idea, as well as who she would kill off first.

Not only that, but her co-star Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas Dingle, also said it was time for her to make a comeback. Paige had been asked about her time on the soap.

Paige told host Stephen Mulhern: “It was so fulfilling, so fun, and working with these guys was amazing. That’s all I can say.” Lucy then commented: “She was absolutely amazing. Seeing those clips there, she needs to come back.”

Meena killed Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate, Ben Tucker and her own father, as well as a friend named Nadine. She tried to kill her own sister Manpreet Sharma, Liam Cavanagh, Vinny Dingle, Victoria Sugden, Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher, as well as shooting Leyla Harding.

But Meena might have unfinished business, as Paige teased who she would kill if she was to return. Straight away, she said: “Manpreet. Straight for Manpreet.”

It comes as the show also shared a Corriedale preview, ahead of Corrie and Emmerdale’s big crossover next month. A horrific pile-up will see worlds collide, with lives on the line.

Names revealed to be involved before the trailer included Lisa Swain, Aaron Dingle, David Platt and Liam Cavanagh. Now, loads more characters have been announced.

For Corrie, fans can expect to see Abi and Kevin Webster, Kit Green, Carla Connor and Asha Alahan, with Debbie Webster teased to be at risk of harm. As for Emmerdale, Charity Dingle, Cain Dingle, Jacob Gallagher, Robert Sugden and Joe Tate will all feature.

In the clip we saw frantic moments at the crash site, with people desperately trying to help, and others searching for loved ones. It’s yet to be confirmed if there’s any more characters involved and who they are, while certain residents seemed to be hidden in the trailer, and so we could not see who was being looked after by Asha.
