The Daily Mail has reported that United have launched a bid of £450,000 for 17-year-old left-back Yisa Alao.

The full-back has impressed scouts from the Premier League, with Liverpool also considering an offer, with The Red Devils hoping to sign the youngster before other sides come swooping in.

For United, Alao is just the latest talented youngster they’re trying to bring to the academy as they hope to not only build The Red Devils of tomorrow, but also see the investment opportunity in talented youngsters.

Under Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), the sale of an academy graduate constitutes as pure profit, supporting to balance club books even further.
