The former Hibs and Celtic star, now in the hotseat at Somerset Park, is selling his stunning six-bedroom property in Edinburgh’s Brighthouse Park Gait.

Property firm Rettie says the home has only been owned and occupied by the present owners, and has been “thoughtfully upgraded and modernised over time”.

Memorabilia from Brown’s playing days can be seen adorning the walls of the home that he bought in 2007 for £1.475m.

The bedroom contains two framed Hibs tops, with one marking the year that Brown won the League Cup in 2007 after a 5-1 victory over Kilmarnock.

Also on display is a framed No. 10 Barcelona shirt with Lionel Messi’s name on it, as well as a picture of the Argentine legend lifting the Champions League trophy on another wall.

The property description states: “This substantial and beautifully maintained detached family home enjoys a peaceful position within the exclusive Brighouse Park development in Cramond.

“The present owners, who are the original occupiers of the property, have lovingly cared for and significantly upgraded the home throughout their tenure – ensuring it remains in modern and excellent condition throughout.

“Set over two spacious floors and extending to over 5,500 sq ft, the property offers flexible and well-balanced accommodation ideally suited to contemporary family living and entertaining on a grand scale.”
