A man was sadly found dead at a house in Salford after emergency services were called out to the scene. Officers and paramedics were called out to Standfield Drive, in Boothstown, at 11.20am on Saturday morning (December 20).

An air ambulance was seen landing on Boothstown Field, off nearby Birchfield Drive. Witnesses also reported seeing multiple ambulances in attendance.

Greater Manchester Police says a 46-year-old man was tragically found dead. There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.

A coronial investigation is now expected to take place. A GMP spokesperson said: “We were called to a property on Standfield Drive, Worsley, yesterday (December 20, 2025) where sadly a man was found to be deceased.

“There are no suspicious circumstances relating to his death and a file is being prepared for the coroner. Our thoughts are with his loved ones.”
