An image has been released by police after a man was bitten and injured in a dog attack in Tameside. Officers were called to the incident in Hyde on December 3.
It was reported that the victim had been attacked on Alexandra Street at around 2.20pm. The man’s injuries were not described as serious. Greater Manchester Police said the owner did not provide his name or address to the victim.
The incident was reported to police who launched an investigation. An image of a man officers want to speak to has now been released as it is believed he could assist with ongoing enquiries.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: “Officers are appealing for information after a man was injured by a dog in an incident in Hyde earlier this month.
“At around 2.20pm on 3 December, a man was bitten by a dog on Alexandra Street, with its owner not providing his name and address to the victim. The incident was reported to police the next day.

“Thankfully, the injuries were not serious. Officers have now released an image of a man they would like to talk to, as it is believed that he could help with their enquiries.
