It launched a hunt to find a new leisure operator to take over the building and agreed that now Corte Sport/Hayes Sports Partnership Ltd, which trades as ‘Te Amo Padel’, will use it to offer padel tennis. It is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and loved by celebrities.
“If it is good enough for David Beckham, it is good enough for us,” the council leader added. . The council has said that there is currently no opening date for the indoor and outdoor courts.

This is because it is currently in lease negotiations with Corte Sport/Hayes Sports Partnership Ltd. Once signed, the firm will then fit out the large grey building as well as outdoor courts.
This, the council says, will happen almost immediately. The indoor building is ready to be fit out and the area for the area for outdoor courts is currently being created.
