In 1914, opposing forces of the Great War brokered a temporary truce on Christmas Day. People that had been shooting at each other the previous day sang carols, drank tea, and even played soccer together. It’s a story British footballer David Beckham should know well, but apparently won’t get a chance to recreate. As the holiday season gets underway, hostilities between David and Victoria Bekham and their son Brooklyn remain, well, hostile. Lil bro Cruz Beckham said on Instagram says he’s been blocked by Brooklyn, as have his parents.
At the start of this week, the Daily Mail claimed Posh and Becks unfollowed their firstborn on Instagram. Cruz posted an IG story debunking the Daily Mail. “NOT TRUE,” he wrote. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son .. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I.”
So how will the Beckham-Peltzes celebrate the holidays? Per the Daily Mail, the Beckhams will be wearing matching pajamas in the Costwolds, while Brooklyn and Nicola celebrate Hanukkah with activist investor/dad Nelson Peltz in Palm Beach.
This all started at Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding to Nicola Peltz, back in 2022. It was reported that Victoria Beckham went back on making Peltz a wedding dress, and that she also might have tried to cut in on the couple’s first dance. Then it was rumored that Romeo Beckham was dating Brooklyn’s alleged ex, Kim Turnbull, and that’s why Brooklyn was MIA at David’s 50th birthday party in May. Cruz denied that particular rumor, too, writing “Brooklyn and Kim never dated” on one of Romeo’s Instagram posts. He’s the Walter Cronkite of the family, apparently.
