Brand new Christmas comedy, Stuffed, debuts on the BBC tonight and features Taskmaster’s Guz Khan in the lead role. The contemporary festive romp from Baby Cow and Dice Roll Productions offers an hour packed with comedy and touching scenes.
BBC Director of Comedy Jon Petrie commented: “We jumped at the chance to bring Stuffed to the BBC: from the moment Andy shared this Christmas caper, we knew it was something special. With Guz Khan’s warm humour at its heart it’s an hour-long treat bursting with warmth and laughter.”
The Christmas one-off, perfect for families to enjoy during the holiday period, follows one household as they embark on the journey of a lifetime, swapping Coventry for the enchantment of Lapland. Here’s everything you need to know about Stuffed, from the cast to where you can watch the programme.

Stuffed chronicles the tale of Arslan Farooqi (Guz Khan), who gets a surprise £8,000 Christmas bonus at his workplace and chooses to head off on a Lapland adventure with his multi-faith family. Arslan, alongside his wife Hannah, his two daughters and brother-in-law Jamie, all eagerly set out on the trip of a lifetime.
Yet, everything descends into mayhem when Arslan discovers his bonus was an error and needs returning straight away. With his newfound companion Lily by his side, he tries to discover an escape from his dilemma, hoping a Christmas miracle might save his job and avert catastrophe for his loved ones.

Guz Khan steps into the spotlight as office worker Arslan Farooqi. Known for his comedic prowess and acting skills, Khan has made a name for himself in shows like Man Like Mobeen, Taskmaster and Our Flag Means Death. He’s also graced the stage of Live at the Apollo with his stand-up comedy and recently featured in Netflix’s The Gentlemen.
Morgana Robinson takes on the role of Arslan’s wife Hannah in the forthcoming Christmas special. A multi-talented comedian, writer and actress, Robinson is recognised for her eponymous projects such as The Morgana Show and Morgana Robinson’s The Agency. Her television appearances include Taskmaster, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Inside No. 9 and she portrays Pippa Middleton in The Windsors.
Theo Barklem-Biggs joins the cast as Jamie, Arslan’s brother-in-law, in Stuffed. The actor boasts an impressive resume, having appeared in several high-profile shows. His roles include Reg Seekings in SAS: Rogue Heroes, Chris in Cleaning Up, Jake Milner in Silk and Mitch Gannon in EastEnders.
Completing the line-up, Sue Johnston stars as Lily, a new friend Arslan befriends while on holiday. As a stalwart of British acting, Sue is perhaps most famous for her roles as Barbara Royle in the BBC comedy The Royle Family and Sheila Grant in the soap opera Brookside. Other notable performances include Grace Foley in the BBC drama Waking the Dead, Gloria Price in Coronation Street, and Miss Denker in ITV’s period drama Downton Abbey.

The festive romp Stuffed, with a run-time of one hour, is set to air on December 23 at 9pm on BBC One. Fans can also catch up with the Christmas comedy on BBC iPlayer.
