The authors of a report into licensing in Northern Ireland have said that they are disappointed with the response of the Communities Minister to their work.

Professor Niamh Fitzgerald and Dr James Nicholls said they are disappointed the DUP’s Gordon Lyons rejected most of their recommendations, and said that he has declined to meet with them since the report’s publication in February.
