Angel Peter will be amongst the fans as Worcester City host Halesowen Town in the Southern League Premier Central on December 26, having travelled from Valladolid in north-west Spain.
He is travelling to spend Christmas in England with his family and his father, John Smith, and will head to Sixways Stadium for some live football as part of the trip.
Dave Clawley, 60, the future father-in-law of Angel’s father John, said one of his favourite memories as a child was Boxing Day football, and he wants to provide the same experience.
“We wanted to make his experience over here as special as possible and be part of something memorable. It’s a memorable event and something they will always treasure,” said Mr Clawley.
“It’s such a family-friendly club and they’ve done the family tickets, which is a great move by the club. It is something exciting.
“I remember myself going to watch Man United against Burnley or Oldham against Sheffield United on Boxing Day – which we did as kids – it was so memorable. I can still remember it all now, the teams, what was going on, the smells, the sights.
“It’s giving him the experience, about family, friendship, football and community.
“Sometimes you have to look back at your own childhood, and Boxing Day was always brilliant. To watch Man United or Oldham or our local non-league match on Boxing Day, it was always really, really special. It gives you a love for it.”
Angel will be joining fan group – ‘The Daves’, a group of 18 Worcester City fans predominantly with the same first name – that have found friendship in following the club.

“We used to sit around at Claines Lane (Worcester City’s old ground) and not know anybody,” explained Mr Clawley. “We brought them all together and we have our own group now, go to away matches and so on.
“Guys that have settled in Worcester that aren’t originally from here, guys that have lost their best mates in football, have joined up with my mates.
“We’re all mad keen. Go home and away every week, it’s a community thing.”
Over 2000 people are expected to turn out on Boxing Day for the match between Worcester City and Halesowen. A figure that would be their best home attendance so far this season.
Club owner Simon Lancaster said: “We would love to get a couple of thousand people along to that.
“Come and support Chris and the team and come down to see a really good game of football on Boxing Day.”
