Thanks to Bovingdon and Elstree hosting major film studios, TV fans have a range of options they can attend without leaving the county.

These can be booked directly through the BBC, SRO Audiences, and Lost in TV websites, which update with new shows and dates regularly.

To claim a spot on the most popular shows, such as those below, it is recommended to join their individual mailing lists.

Strictly films at Elstree Film and Television Studios in Borehamwood, with a one-off special from Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

It operates a random draw for audience tickets but it is too late to apply for the ongoing series.

However, fans can join a waiting list through the BBC ‘shows and tours’ page for the following contest.

Christmas Special tickets are allocated through a separate random draw.

Other shows:

Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents Evening, The Chasers, and Beat the Chasers have all previously offered tickets in Hertfordshire.

Fans may want to keep an eye out for new dates ahead of additional series beginning filming, but there are no live mailing lists at the moment.

All three previously offered seats through SRO Audiences.
