The pair were dressed to impress with Rod rocking red and grey tartan trousers, while Penny dazzled in a vibrant red sequinned dress, complemented by a gold handbag and matching red heels.

Penny, 54, posted images to her social media showing parts of the bash at the five-star luxury hotel in Auchterarder, Perthshire.

One snap of the couple was shared alongside Rod’s hit song ‘Precious Memories.’

Penny also posted a clip of bagpipers playing a tune as they strolled through the hotel’s lush gardens, captioning the short video with ‘Happy New Year‘s Eve’ and ‘Hogmanay style.’

‘GOOD LUCK RANGERS’

Celtic-daft Rod Stewart calls for Nancy to be sacked in explosive rant

‘FANS WILL RIOT’

Celtic-daft Rod Stewart fears things will get WORSE for Wilfried Nancy

During their stay the couple were joined by their two sons, Alastair, 20, and Aiden, 15, making it a family affair.

This is the second time the family has welcomed in the New Year at the hotel after they stayed in 2024.

Rod, 80, left a £10,000 tip for the staff for their exceptional service.

Earlier this week we told how Sir Rod stunned his social media followers with a savage New Year takedown of Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy which concluded with the words ‘Good luck Rangers’.

The rocker, a massive Hoops fan, recorded the brutal diatribe from the gym in his LA home which is adorned with signed Celtic jerseys.

But watching the video leaves you with one conclusion – that he would prefer Old Firm rivals Rangers to win when the two Glasgow rivals collide at Celtic Park on January 3 in order to hasten Nancy’s departure.

The beleaguered Frenchman has presided over five defeats from his first seven matches and it was the manner of the 2-0 defeat to Motherwell last night more than anything which has left the Frenchman on the brink of the sack just weeks into his new post.

In the video, shared on his Instagram story, Stewart admitted the club’s struggles weren’t helping his sleeping patterns.

He said: “I didn’t sleep last night and I’ll tell you why.

“Is Nancy going to go, is he going to be sacked like Russell Martin maybe, or is he going to continue and we’re going to keep losing?

“He’s now won two games out of seven and apparently the worst manager we ever had [John Barnes] got sacked after eight losses over 29 games over six months.

“Then he was fired. But it looks like this guy is going to continue.

“It breaks my heart. Should we give him a chance in January? I don’t know. It looks like it’s going to stay.

“I come from a football family, we all love football.

“I remember my mum once said football has caused more distress in arguments in football than Adolf Hitler.

“So with that thought in mind I will be up here on Saturday to watch the Celtic.

“And good luck Rangers!”
