Several celebrities have been spotted just seats apart from each other at the first Old Firm game of the year on Saturday. National treasure Rod Stewart was spotted at Celtic Park alongside grime legend Stormzy and football icon Chris Kamara- who also paid a surprise visit to Macsorley’s at Glasgow Central on Friday night.
Photos shared with Glasgow Live show the stars in their seats at Celtic Park Stadium this afternoon as Rangers made a 3-1 comeback against the Hoops. A further picture shared by Sky Sports Scotland on X showed Stormzy sat just two seats away from Sir Rod, who came prepared for this icy New Year weekend in a luxurious fur-lined leather coat.
The broadcaster said on X: “Just Rod Stewart and Stormzy taking in the Old Firm” as the stars eagerly watched the first Celtic vs Rangers game of 2026 unfold.

Today’s result brings more woes for new Hoops boss Nancy, after his team have suffered almost continuous defeats since he officially took up the post in early December. His future at the club is thought to be uncertain.
