Bryan Wylie was last seen by a friend on Ness Road at 8pm on Monday, January 5.
The 23-year-old was then reported missing on Wednesday, January 7.
He is described as around 5ft 9 in height, of slim build with short Fair/blonde hair.
His clothing when last seen is described as wearing a black ‘Montirrex’ jacket, black jogging bottoms and black ‘Nike’ trainers.
Sergeant Craig Marshall said: “We are growing concerned for Bryan’s welfare. It is out of character for him not to be in touch with his friends and family for this period of time.
“We are carrying out a number of enquiries to trace Bryan and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen him or who has any information on his whereabouts to please contact us as soon as possible.”
