Restoration Yard’s courtyard, Dalkeith Country Park

Dalkeith Country Park have announced that work is now underway for a major renovation of The Coffee Bar, one of the Restoration Yard’s most popular visitor spaces.
The Coffee Bar is now temporarily closed for around eight weeks for the renovation to take place.
The upgrade will double the size of the current Coffee Bar, creating a brighter, more spacious area for visitors. The expanded space will include additional seating, booths and an extended service area, aiming to ‘enable the talented chefs to broaden the food and beverage offering’ that has continued to grow in popularity in recent years.
For many years, The Coffee Bar has been a staple at Restoration Yard, welcoming visitor seeking a quicker, more casual alternative to The Kitchen Restaurant, which is also within Restoration Yard’s courtyard.
Popular for its selection of teas and coffees, freshly baked scones, cakes, sandwiches and seasonal soups, the renovation aims to ensure The Coffee Barr continues to live up to its popularity.

In addition to The Coffee Bar renovation, Dalkeith Country Park are also refurbishing the Steel Car Park. This work will include full resurfacing, the creation of 248 parking spaces and improvements designed to deliver a better arrival and parking experience.
These renovations are the first of several planned improvements designed to ensure that Dalkeith Country Park remains a welcoming and destination for the community and visitors.
