The day’s other Jumps meeting takes place at Fairyhouse as The King of Prs bids to repeat last year’s victory in the Grade 3 Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase (13:40). Elsewhere on the card, Willie Mullins unleashes French recruits Macho Man and Proactif in the Hurdle (12:00) and stablemate Bambino Fever bids to get off the mark over sticks in the Mares Maiden Hurdle (12:30).
Switching codes and Inspired – by Dubawi out of a Group 2-winning mare – tries to defy a penalty in the Class 3 Novice Stakes (17:20) at Newcastle. There’s also an all-weather fixture at Lingfield.
