In 2025, the airport awarded its highest-ever total funding, supporting 103 projects with £349,000 through its community funding schemes, including the Bristol Airport Local Community Fund, Diamond Fund, and noise mitigation grant scheme.

Tracy Comer, community relations manager at Bristol Airport, said: “We are extremely proud to have delivered our largest ever level of community funding in 2025, enabling us to support more local projects and initiatives than at any point before.

“These record figures reflect our long-standing commitment to working closely with our neighbours and investing in schemes that make a real difference.”

Projects funded in North Somerset and South Bristol included a community minibus for Wrington, biodiversity work for Winford Parish Council, and window and door renovations in Cleeve.

The airport has invested £1.8 million since 2012 in projects designed to support the environment and improve quality of life.

Further funding is available for 2026, with all eligible groups encouraged to apply.
