Leeds United face Plymouth Argyle tomorrow lunchtime in a game which could still potentially be Daniel Farke’s final one in charge.
Daniel Farke led Leeds back to the Premier League on Easter Monday, but his capability of keeping Leeds in the Premier League has been questioned in some corners in recent weeks.
Leeds are undergoing a bit of a makeover behind the scenes at Elland Road, which has included changes to backroom staff and at recruitment level. However, Farke could be another to be moved on as they make the transition back to top flight football starting after tomorrow.
Paraag Marathe has a big decision to make regarding Farke’s future, which Simon Grayson is confident will see him remain for the Premier League. The Leeds Chairman has been in West Yorkshire recently amid growing rumours surrounding the German’s future.

The likes of Michael Brown and Gabby Agbonlahor have suggested recently that Leeds may have to consider sacking him, amid messages of support sent from former striker Marcus Thuram after their thumping wins over Stoke City and Bristol City at Elland Road.
Nothing is certain but talk of a replacement has already began. An emerging report from TBR Football has revealed that Cesc Fabregas is among the early names being considered by Leeds to replace Farke.
He has since broken the silence on that, regarding his future at Como in Serie A. According to Correire Dello Sport, as relayed via Roma Press, Fabregas is not concerned with thinking about that until the season ends.

He said: “I don’t know, nothing is decided yet. I need a short break at the end of the season, a moment to breathe before sitting down at the table with Como.”
“I consider myself very lucky because here the management of daily life is the same whether you win or lose. The comparison is constant. I expect a lot, it’s true, because one thing that [Antonio] Conte taught me and repeated a few days ago is the essence of our work.
“The only one who is always at risk is the coach, it’s a question of internal and external expectations. I have to understand where we want to go — and how. Yes, Como remains my priority.”
“It’s normal that someone has come forward looking for me. There are teams that are looking for a coach or a player. They call and that’s fine. That’s how it is, we shouldn’t lie to people.
“It happens everywhere. Do you think that Simeone hasn’t been called in all these years? And yet he’s still at Atletico. There’s a timing for everything.”

Plymouth won’t make it easy tomorrow and both Burnley and Leeds cans till win the title and get to an incredible 100 points at the end of this season. Following that will be a big summer of recruitment and off-pitch decisions.
However, Daniel Farke’s record in the Premier League with Norwich City makes for grim reading, even if he was operating on a small budget in top flight terms. This has to be one of the factors Leeds are considering, in spite of him having one of the best Championship records of all-time.
Daniel Farke’s managerial record and statistics
The good news is that Leeds will earn a massive windfall upon promotion but it will still take a lot of money to compete in English football’s elite tier. Thankfully, early reports suggest Leeds are planning to spend £100 million.
