I’ve worked with some directors who, believe it or not, have no idea what they want. They just work and when they see it, they know it, and you’re on your 50th take, and they say, that’s great. David was not like that. He would get me mad because he would do one take and he’s like, ‘That’s great. We got it. Let’s move on.’ I’m like, ‘No, no, no, we need to have a second one for safety. We need to make sure we got everything covered.’
