The first episode of the new spin-off series was scheduled for broadcast on Monday night.
Many fans of Love Island will be left wondering if the first episode of the spin-off’s latest series will be on tonight as scheduled.
The special edition of ITV’s hit dating reality show was originally set to kick off its third season tonight (Monday, January 12). Unfortunately due to circumstances out of the broadcaster’s control, viewers may set to be disappointed.
With Maya Jama returning to host and Iain Stirling providing the voiceover, the show follows closely on the heels of the 12th series finale, which fans hailed as ‘TV gold’ and ‘iconic’ due to its summer filled with shocking twists and turns.
Fan-favourite Islanders from the past decade will once again enter the famous Villa in hopes of finding that elusive spark, all while dealing with bombshells, head-turning moments, and unresolved issues. Set in sunny South Africa, the third All Stars series will extend to six weeks instead of the usual five.
The latest cast features previous winners and ex-Islanders who stirred up plenty of drama during their initial stint. Here’s all you need to know about the premiere of Love Island All Stars series three.

Is Love Island on tonight?
Unfortunately, there is no new episode of Love Island All Stars on tonight as originally planned. This is because filming was forced to be delayed with the production site evacuated due to wildfires near the South Africa villa.
ITV released a statement with an update on the show and confirming the unexpected delay. A spokesperson said: “Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed.”
Their statement continued: “Health and safety is our greatest priority and will always come first, and therefore the transmission of Love Island: All Stars will be delayed until a date to be confirmed.”
Wildfires have ravaged South Africa’s Western and Eastern Cape regions as powerful winds intensify the flames. Despite significant progress from the fire service, it was reported the fires were still burning “out of control”.

Fans are awaiting a new date for the premiere(Image: ITV)
Just last week, ITV announced its latest line-up of familiar faces set to re-enter the luxury villa in the hopes of finding love. The brand new series, with host Maya Jama, was set to run for six weeks instead of the usual five as ITV pledged it would be an even bigger watch.
What the latest incident means for the brand new series currently remains unknown. Fans are keeping an eye on the official Love Island social media pages for the latest news. The date for the series debut and any other impact the unexpected delay will have on the rest of the series is still not known.
Instead, according to TV listings, Love Island: A decade of love will broadcast at 9pm on ITV2. It will feature memorable contestants from the past decade of the show reuniting.
Love Island All Stars is set to air on ITV2 and stream on ITVX soon.
