The first three episodes of our four-part official AWFC documentary, following our historic 2024/25 Champions League journey, are out now!
The documentary features never-before-seen footage from the Arsenal dressing room and exclusive interviews with our squad and coaches, narrated by Jen Beattie and includes interviews with BBC journalist, Jo Currie.

In Episode 1 – Transition, focus is on Jonas Eidevall’s departure from the club, before Renée Slegers took over as interim head coach. That was followed by her first big win over Valerenga, as well as successes against West Ham United, Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur prior to a comeback win over Bayern Munich to secure top spot in our Champions League group. In Episode 2 – Growth, Renée is appointed as permanent head coach and we welcome Chloe Kelly to the club on loan. We suffer a narrow loss to Chelsea before a big comeback win against Manchester City away. Our domestic cup campaigns come to an end though, as City and Liverpool knock us out of the Women’s League Cup and Women’s FA Cup respectively, before the torrential rain reflects the mood in a 2-0 defeat at Real Madrid.
In Episode 3 – Belief, Renée encouraging the team to “suffer for what you love” prior to our unforgettable turnaround against Real Madrid at Emirates Stadium. We then focus on her coaching partnership with Aaron D’Antino and provide great footage of our Champions League semi-final success over Lyon.
In Episode 4 – The Arsenal Way: Leah Williamson reflects on being a mascot in the 2007 Champions League final and we hear from Kim Little about her Arsenal journey. Mariona Caldentey and Laia Codina discuss their experiences of playing for Barcelona, and there is plenty of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of our final win in Lisbon.
