Baby elephants just do the darndest things. To watch one of them is to witness countless precious moments. There is just something about their innate curiosity, coupled with their slight clumsiness, that makes everything they do totally adorable.
Whether a baby elephant is celebrating “moving a log” or deciding to have a pool party in a puddle on the side of the road, pretty much anything they do is a must-see.
As this video below shows, the way this baby elephant turns this roadside puddle into their own personal splash zone is the epitome of all that is total cuteness overload!
Precious is as precious does! There is no other way to even begin to explain what makes this tiny baby elephant so cute. Their entire family is there, hanging out by this puddle, but not much is happening at the start of this video.
That’s when this adorable little elephant decides to turn the volume up to 11 and get the party started. They plopped themselves down in the puddle and started splashing around with their little trunk, which is every bit as adorable as it sounds!

All of their splashing and playing was incredibly infectious, because a moment later, the rest of their elephant family joined them to splash around in this puddle with their trunks, too!
Honestly, elephant families are just the cutest, just like baby elephants are the most adorable creatures imaginable!
Elephant Babies Are Just as Mischievous as Human Babies
As this other video shows, sibling fights happen everywhere, even amongst young elephants in the wild. Here, younger and older siblings are fighting. It’s a sight we are sure many human families are familiar with, LOL.
There certainly seems to be a fair amount of competitiveness between these two elephant siblings, with the smaller, younger sibling seemingly gaining the upper hand over their larger sibling, getting on top of them and having them pinned down throughout most of the video.
Although towards the end of this footage, the bigger sibling does manage to wiggle free from their younger sibling. There was some undeniable roughhousing going on here, LOL.
However, there doesn’t appear to be anything hostile between these two siblings, as their parents don’t seem to pay too much attention to their shenanigans. This was just good old-fashioned sibling fun!
Between turning a puddle into their own personal splash and play zone and pinning their bigger sibling to the ground WWF style, we think it’s safe to say that this adorable baby elephant really knows how to keep things interesting, LOL.
