A new connection from the Scottish city of Glasgow will provide travellers with access to Zurich in Switzerland from the end of May 2026.
Operated by Swiss leisure carrier, Edelweiss, the route will be served twice weekly on Mondya and Friday from 29 May until 14 September 2026.
Commenting on the new route, Chris Tibbett, Aviation Director at AGS Airports, which operates Glasgow Airport, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Edelweiss to Glasgow Airport with this exciting new service to Zurich. This route not only offers our passengers direct access to one of Europe’s most charming cities with world-class museums and stunning Alpine views, but also provides seamless connectivity via its efficient Zurich hub.”
With convenient access to the stunning Swiss city with its lakeside setting, vibrant cultural scene and proximity to the Swiss Alps, Edelweiss’ service will provide an exciting new option for summer travel for those travelling from Glasgow. Similarly, for those travelling from Zurich, it offers access to the buzzing Scottish city as a gateway to the rest of Scotland.
