A 23-year-old remains wanted as the victim remains in critical condition

Police are continuing their efforts to locate a 23-year-old man wanted after a shooting in Darnall on Christmas Day – with a second suspect now being located.
Samin Khan is wanted after a 20-year-old man was reportedly shot in the chest on Wilfred Drive at 11.27pm on December 25 last year.
South Yorkshire Police say a second suspect – Raheel Mahmood – has been located.
The victims remains in a critical, life-threatening condition.
Extensive work has been carried out by police to find Khan, including visits to over a dozen addresses and enquiries with his associates.
Detectives believe Khan knows he is wanted and is actively avoiding arrest.
He is described as an Asian man with black hair and has known links to the Darnall area.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Cartwright of South Yorkshire Police said: “I am very thankful for the support of the public in providing information and intelligence to aid our investigation so far. “
“Our officers are determined to bring those responsible for this shocking attack to justice, and have been working tirelessly to do so.”
People are being urged to call 999 if they see Khan, while any information on his whereabouts can be reported on 101.
