West Ham United are clearly still very active in the January transfer window.
Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe have already arrived at West Ham in the January window, but beleaguered boss Nuno Espirito Santo definitely needs to get more bodies through the door at the London Stadium.
West Ham now seem to be focusing their January transfer window business on strengthening their backline.
That’s exactly what Nuno should be doing as well, with his side having conceded more goals than any other Premier League team this season.
How many more signings do we need to make for you to feel confident about staying up?! 🤔
Still an awful lot of work to do…

The Hammers need for a new centre-back is obvious to see.
However, the addition of a top-class full-back seems to be high on Nuno’s wish-list as well…
West Ham want Spain international in the January transfer window
West Ham are fairly well-stocked in the right-back department right now, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kyle Walker-Peters battling for a starting spot.
However, would it be fair to argue that a more technically gifted right-back would make a big difference for the Hammers?
It seems as though Nuno may be on that kind of wavelength.

Spanish publication AS claim that the Hammers are keen to bring Oscar Mingueza to the London Stadium this winter.
It has previously been claimed that West Ham could face fierce competition for Mingueza’s signature from the likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa.
Mingueza has a €20 million (£17.5 million) release clause inserted into his current contract with Celta Vigo (Mundo Deportivo).
That sounds like incredibly good value for the 26-year-old, given his undeniable quality.
Oscar Mingueza could take West Ham to another level
He is a right-back by trade but can also operate as a centre-back or even as a right winger!

Mingueza has racked up one goal and two assists in 16 La Liga games for Celta Vigo this term.
The 26-year-old has averaged 1.6 tackles, 1.1 clearances and 1.3 dribbles per match throughout those appearances (Who Scored).
The technically gifted Spaniard, who has four international caps to his name, is a really progressive passer of the football and is extremely comfortable in possession.
Mingueza would be a superb addition for West Ham in the January transfer window.
However, it remains to be seen whether the Hammers are able to win the race for his signature with so many clubs chasing the Celta Vigo ace.
