The club said its stewards and staff took a zero-tolerance approach to unacceptable behaviour.

It said: “A small element of young supporters has emerged in recent times, intent on causing problems outside and inside the ground.

“This will not be tolerated.

“The club will continue to work with all supporters to create an enjoyable match day experience and create a positive atmosphere where safety is not compromised.”

The club added: “Those who come intent on causing problems are not welcome.”

The Scottish government is consulting on whether to extend powers to ban football fans from games for offences like using pyrotechnics and online abuse.
