Let’s face it, January can be a bit depressing. But if all this cold weather and lack of festivities is getting to you, one thing that should be on your radar is Fairfield Social Club’s Winter Beer Fest. Returning to Fairfield Social Club for three days of top-quality independent beer, cosy winter pours and proper FSC atmosphere, Winter Beer Fest is set to light up even the darkest of Januarys.
Expect 30+ guest taps pouring everything from dark, malty classics to fresh seasonal releases, alongside mulled cider, hearty street food and plenty of space to settle in for a long session. If you’ve never been to FSC, you’re in for a treat – with a vibrant community feel and some of the best beer going, it’s the perfect spot to hunker down over winter.

If you’re looking for even more to get involved in this January, Fairfield Social Club has your back. Fancy a traditional folk activity? Get involved in Wassailing at FSC, which is all about chasing out bad spirits and welcoming good vibes for the year ahead, fuelled by hot mulled cider, noise and movement.
The night features live performances from Lancashire clog dancing favourites The Milltown Cloggies, plus crowd participation, sparklers and plenty of winter warmth. Expect stomping feet, raised glasses and a properly uplifting way to kick off the year.
What’s more, if you’ve been glued to The Traitors like us this year (and every year), get down to FSC on the 23rd as they’re even hosting a screening of this year’s finale, with a quiz beforehand and free drinks for those who dress up – sounds perfect to us!
