Could this be the Role of her lifetime? Dakota Johnson has once again been spotted out with 28-year-old Sally-collecting singer-songwriter Role Model, following weeks of rumors that the pair are dating. In footage from January 14 posted by Deuxmoi, the 36-year-old Materialists star was seen walking with Role Model (whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury) into the Beverly Hills restaurant Marvin. The duo were previously photographed enjoying a candlelit dinner with friends in Los Angeles in December, and a source told Entertainment Tonight that they also rang in 2026 together, “kissing, dancing, and holding on to each other” throughout the night at a New Year’s Eve party hosted by Johnson. Reportedly, Johnson’s mom was in attendance and “completely comfortable” around the Pillsbury boy Role Model.
News broke last June that Johnson had consciously uncoupled from Chris Martin after eight years and a rumored on-again, off-again engagement. Five months after the breakup, a source told People that Johnson was “slowly dating again” and “happy.” Role Model hasn’t publicly dated anyone since he and Emma Chamberlain broke up in 2023 after three years of dating. Neither he nor Johnson have officially confirmed they’re together — but they also haven’t shut down speculation of their romance as not the truth, Ellen. To be fair, even if Johnson comes out and announces she’s in love with Role Model, we may wait for some more evidence to be sure. After all, we remember what she said about limes.
