Celia Henaff and of Antonin Guigonnat, both of France, won in the Mass Start 60 at the IBU Cup in Brezno-Osrblie. For Henaff it was a career-first IBU Cup win, for Guigonnat third IBU Cup win of the season.Henaff the fastest of the winning French quintet

Henaff, wearing bib number 5, missed one shot in the first prone and won in 33:16.4. It was the first individual victory for the 21-year-old, last winter’s Junior World Champion in the Individual at the 2025 World Championships in Oestersund. Paula Botet, missing one shot in the final standing, finished second, 7.2 seconds behind Henaff, while Sophie Chauveau, shooting 17/20, placed third, 14.9 seconds behind the winner. Amandine Mengin finished fourth and Voldiya Galmace-Paulin fifth, with only Italy’s Samuela Comola breaking up an otherwise all-French flower ceremony.

It was the best day of the season for China, with Fanqi Meng finishing eighth and Yuanmeng Chu ninth.

Botet leads the Total Score standings with 722 points, followed by Galmace-Paulin with 663 and Chauveau with 615.

Guigonnat wins a thriller

Guigonnat, wearing bib number 3, led after all shooting stages but the third, where he recorded his only miss of the day. He won in 37:01.2. Martin Nevland, representing Norway and fresh from his World Cup debut in Oberhof, also missed one shot in the second prone and finished second, just 2.2 seconds behind the Frenchman. Sprint winner Christoph Pircher of Italy, shooting 18/20, completed the podium, only 2.8 seconds behind the winner.

Vetle Paulsen of Norway, fifth on the day, retained his lead in the Total Score standings.
