Let’s kick off 2026 by sharing the very first film simulation recipe of the year.
This one was shared in our large Fujifilm Film Simulation group by Michal here, who aptly named it “Movie Recipe.”
Below, you’ll find sample images along with the full settings.
Fellow group member Hernando has already been experimenting with the recipe as well. He used Fujifilm X RAW Studio to apply the settings to photos he had previously shot, just to see how the look translates outdoors. Unfortunately, DR400 couldn’t be applied to those images, so his examples are shot in DR100—that being the only difference.
